Penn National Gaming VIP Services Coordinator- Part Time in Washington, Pennsylvania

An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.

  • Responsible for data entry, filing, reports, scheduling, and correspondence for the Player Development department.

  • Makes room, restaurant, show, spa, limo, and golf reservations for VIP casino guests; handles travel and off-site event arrangements for Player Development staff.

  • Prepares all materials for VIP tournaments.

  • Meets and greets new and existing casino customers in a courteous and friendly manner.

  • Assists with and participates in special events, parties, and promotions.

  • Resolves customer service issues, concerns, or problems to ensure optimal guest satisfaction; has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers.

  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality regarding all company matters.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.

  • Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.

  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Must have intermediate computer knowledge; proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of SMS and LMS systems a plus.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

  • Must have the ability to write reports and business correspondence.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Must have the ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.

  • Understanding of property and department policies and procedures.
