Your daily responsibilities include
Assist with recruiting and screening applicants for employment, responsible for new hire on boarding and orientation. Coordinate scheduling, enrollment and tracking of property training programs to team members. Cross train in all aspects of Human Resources.
Promote and comply with Customer courtesy program in order to ensure positive work environment for both our customers and employees.
Assist Senior HR Generalist with background checks and assessments, requisitions and the employment application process, as needed.
Coordinate, enter and verify employment transactions required to maintain accurate and current data in the HR Business system.
Assist Sr. Generalist with employee on boarding activities including, but not limited to, employee orientation, processing of new hire paperwork, completion of gaming applications, and service testing and compliance.
Assist with tactical responsibilities associated with maintaining employee data base; will include but not limited to the licensing process and applicant tracking system, training systems, etc.
Answer questions and provide information pertaining to training and HR issues.
Maintain training records. Assist HR Manager with oversight and compliance of property training objectives as it relates to the organization.
Makes recommendations to improve facilitation, follow up, measurement, of training classes or processes.
Support other HR areas as needed.
Comply with company policies; all state and federal regulations, and internal controls as it relates to this position.
Work with Human Resources Manager and Senior HR Generalist to provide back-up support as needed.
Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job descriptions where, in the company’s judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or improved guest service.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set
B.S. /B.A. in Business or related field of study. Two or more years of progressive human resource experience.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statically inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
