An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
Your daily responsibilities include
Transfers drop devices from casino floor to the count rooms.
Performs daily count of multiple drops such as Table, BV, Blind, NRT, and Bad-Beat drops.
Sorts, counts, straps, and records the results of daily counts in accordance to departmental and regulatory policies.
Compares and contrasts totals from physical count to those entered in the computer as well as the numbers recorded on currency counters.
Prepares reports recording any discrepancies from the computer totals to the actual physical totals, while notifying the lead, or manager to any variance between the two.
Performs minor repairs and maintenance on count room equipment.
Notifies count room management of malfunctioning equipment.
Responsible for the general upkeep of the count room. (conducts waste management and recycling whenever possible)
Maintains an ethical work habit in adhering to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Performs duties as assigned by the Count Room Lead or Manager.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must be 18 years of age.
Prior count room or money handling experience such as banking is highly recommended.
Must be able to work any shift, any day of the week including holidays and weekends.
Must pass background check, hair follicle drug test and MO Gaming License Process.
Must have excellent communication skills while maintaining a professional working environment.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must have a team mentality with the ability to work in a secured area for prolonged periods of time with co-workers.
Must have the manual dexterity to open small locks, grip as well as remove and replace slot boxes while maintaining a fast pace to meet time constraints.
Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull in order to complete drops and counts in a timely manner.
Must be able to carry a minimum of 25 lbs up to 60 feet while performing the slot drop.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, for up to ten hours per day.
Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to maintain a safe working environment while being able to maneuver equipment in high traffic areas.
Being able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to maintain a fast pace under stressful conditions.
Must be able to work for prolonged periods of time in a secured area while under surveillance.
