Your daily responsibilities include

SUMMARY: Responsible for participating in and directing the flow of count room activities.

DUTIES:

  • Ensure currency is accounted for and recorded in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure company assets are properly accounted for and secured.

  • Review and compile reports generated by count room personnel

  • Oversee the maintenance of machinery used in count room operations

  • Operate a currency counting machine

  • Ability to function with secured access for ingress/egress to count room

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

DUTIES:

  • Follow all safety rules

  • Adhere to departmental quality standards

  • Maintain compliance with the Illinois Gaming Board Rules, and the company’s Policies and Procedures, System of Internal Controls and other regulatory requirements.

  • Work within the guidelines established by Penn National Gaming and Prairie State Gaming

  • Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for the supervision of the Count Room staff.

APPEARANCE & GROOMING: All Team Members are required to follow the appearance and grooming guidelines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: HS Degree or equivalent work experience related to the nature of the position.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend and interpret written and/or oral instructions. Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests. For internal control purposes, English must be spoken while in the count room.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Qualified to be licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, handle, and exercise eye-hand coordination.

  • Must be able to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, turn/twist, and bend at the waist.

  • Must be able to speak and hear. Must have depth perception, and be able to see near and far.

  • Must be able to lift and carryup to50 pounds. Must be able to push greater than 50 pounds.

  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
