Your daily responsibilities include

Argosy Casino Riverside is currently looking for an Casino Services Supervisor to join the team.

  • Communicate effectively with Casino Services Manager to reflect any and all necessary information to ensure the customer service and satisfaction for all customers.

  • Direct and assist Casino Services Representatives.

  • Effectively respond to issues that arise. Ability to think quickly and react based on knowledge of policies and procedures.

  • Assign Casino Services Representatives daily duties and ensure their completion. These include but are not limited to: assigning rotating posts for each scheduled Casino Services Representative, to include lunch periods and breaks.

  • Make monthly work schedule ensuring all shifts and posts are covered.

  • Track absentees and tardies. Fill out daily shift report noting any situations that occurred with customer and within the department. Apply discipline as needed.

  • Assist in training Casino Services Representatives on policies and procedures. Keep Casino Services Representatives informed of any changes as they occur.

  • Conduct daily briefings with staff for clarification of the day's duties.

  • Monitor and order supplies as needed.

  • Issue VIP numbers through CDS System and return to Casino Services administrative assistant.

  • Debit and credit players accounts. Adjust points for special promotions and merge duplicate cards. Track the number of sign-ins to ensure we are meeting our goals.

  • Make service call to report any computer or embosser malfunctions and follow up with appropriate paperwork.

  • Responsible for opening/closing each day's business. Verify all banks and deposits.

  • Complete closing reports, compile and copy for necessary department heads.

  • Accurately write down turnstile numbers after each boarding, and complete turnstile report.

  • Assist in reports and other necessary paperwork.

  • Reconcile comp voids at the end of each gaming session to ensure accurate head counts for the state forms.

  • Follow internal controls related to position.

  • Any other duties assigned by the Casino Services Manager aimed at achieving total guest satisfaction.

  • Must be able to type a minimum of 45 words per minute on computer.

  • Must have superior communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
