An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Directly manage the operations of assigned restaurant venues

  • Resolve customer complaints regarding food service and quality

  • Train team members in food service, sanitation, and safety procedures

  • Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing

  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards

  • Develop or oversee and implement departmental training programs.

  • Monitor budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted

  • Control inventories of food, equipment, and liquor and report any shortages to designated personnel

  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations to team members in accordance with work requirements

  • Analyze operational problems, such as theft and waste, and establish procedures to alleviate these problems

  • Interview, select and train new team members.

  • Review, adjust and administer working schedules of team members.

  • Supervise and manage the work processes or procedures of supervisors and front-line team members.

  • Conduct individual or group pre-shift meetings with team members and provide daily positive feedback.

  • Understand and adhere to disciplinary policies including but not limited to counseling team members and the use of progressive discipline to modify poor performance.

  • Address and manage complaints, grievances or concerns from team members.

  • Effectively use, administer and manage rewards and recognition for front line team members.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2-3 years of experience managing multi-unit operations.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
