Your daily responsibilities include

  • Responsible for fostering a fun environment

  • Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers

  • Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events

  • Responsible for the repair, maintenance and performance of all slots and related gaming equipment

  • Make recommendations concerning the research, development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technologies, and processes to ensure the property’s competitive position

  • Responsible for the development, interpretation, and implementation of departmental policies, operating procedures, and training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules, rules and regulations

  • Ensure all policies, procedures and practices are consistently followed and comply with the company’s service standards, brand attributes, policies, collective bargaining agreements and regulatory requirements

  • Plan and submit for movements and conversions of slot machines, based on analysis of gaming floor

  • Leads and directs the development, execution and measurement of departmental service standards for the slot technical team

  • Manage team member development, review training needs for technical team members and recommend training to improve the quality of the workforce

  • Remain open to change and vary opinion based on new information; perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change; manage transitions effectively from task to task; adapt to varying guest needs

  • Ability to bring about results from ordinary circumstances; prepare for problems or opportunities in advance; transform leads into productive business outcomes; undertake additional responsibilities and respond to situations as they arise without supervision.

  • Maintains a full working knowledge of slot technician duties

  • Stay abreast of changes in the casino environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjust plans accordingly

  • Be knowledgeable about player events, marketing promotions and services/amenities throughout the property

  • Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every guest

  • Responsible for the timely evaluation of all direct reports and conducting introductory period and annual performance reviews

  • Maintains an open door policy to address team member concerns in a timely manner

  • Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards

  • Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service

  • Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude

  • Must enjoy hosting others

  • Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Must have a proven track record reflecting strong knowledge and experience related to slot technology and slot technical operations

  • Three or more years in Slot management, plus three or more years experience with electronic maintenance and repair

  • ACSC systems experience strongly preferred

  • Able to analyze facts and details to provide a report or solution to a problem

  • Ability to read, interpret and write documents such as safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations

  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 100 lbs, and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in vary work areas such as confined spaces
