As such, PI is looking for a Director Marketing Analytics to accelerate the growth of PI’s real money gaming products, including its online sportsbook and online casino games.
As a passionate and result-driven senior marketing analytics leader, you’ll lead the Sportsbook Marketing Analytics team, and will be responsible in creating a well designed and documented marketing analytics strategy and functional framework in order to deliver consistently high value data-rich actionable analysis. The goal of this strategic approach to marketing analytics will be to ensure that the marketing organization will be making smarter and ever-increasingly informed and technologically sophisticated marketing decisions to improve the overall player journey & UX, as well as to exceed the marketing SMART objectives by improving all marketing KPIs across all delivery departments.
You have had experience growing and leading a marketing analytics team in a hyper growth environment and ideally in the $100M+ annual revenue range, while not forgetting what being resourceful means, and taking on functional roles and tasks when the situation calls for it.

Your daily responsibilities include
Plan, document, execute and manage the overall marketing analytics strategy
Lead teams responsible for analysis around marketing campaign effectiveness measurement, marketing attribution, marketing mix modeling, and customer lifecycle analysis providing insights that will change future marketing decisions
Proven analytics leader. Responsible for all facets of analytics management: from requirements gathering, development of advanced statistical models utilizing typical and atypical methodologies, delivery of findings, and managing production and refinement of results
Work closely with data science, and engineering teams to build and monitor tools and dashboards to track and optimize channel performance
Supervise the development and enhancement of data models for statistical modeling purposes, tracking results against actuals, and re-specify when required
Supervise direct reports in delivering high quality, accurate, and methodologically consistent advanced analytics results
Lead, mentor, and grow team members responsible for analytical solutions to enable better decisions by the marketing organization
Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set
Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics or equivalent combination of education and experience
8+years in an analytics role with at least 3 of those years in a Business Intelligence/Analytics management position focused on marketing analytics
Must have at least 5 years hands-on experience performing advanced quantitative analyses and 3 years leading high performing teams
Experience mentoring and coaching direct reports in delivering high quality, accurate, and methodologically consistent advanced analytics results
Proficient in digital marketing principles (omni-channel) and best practices based on extensive data collation and analysis
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems while dealing with a variety of abstract and concrete variables
Ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret large quantities of data and translate findings into actionable insights
Ability to communicate the vision of an analytics based business solution to managers/analysts who are responsible for bringing this to life
Demonstrated Business Intelligence management experience in regulated online gaming or e-commerce marketing not required but highly desired
Proven ability to develop and execute business intelligence strategy
Excellent people management skills with a proven ability to lead, motivate and influence team members and business counterparts
Ability to meet deadlines and to work under the pressure of short time constraints
Must have advanced technical & application experience with relational databases, SQL programming, Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics & Firebase, Attribution platforms (AppsFlyer, Singular etc), Marketing management and analytics platforms for reporting purposes (GTM, CRM platforms etc), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI etc)
Ability to clearly translate technical data into a framework and language that internal clients can understand
Ability to clearly communicate and persuasively present data and conclusions in an organized manner to a wide variety of audiences, up to and including Executive management
Experience with a variety of campaign management tools is preferred
Passion for sports AND/OR sports betting highly regarded
