Your daily responsibilities include
This position assists in the design, development, implementation, and integration of security technologies associated with the enterprise and provides technical direction and guidance of system configurations to ensure alignment with regulatory and security requirements. This position works cross-functionally across business and IT teams to ensure effective communication and understanding by all levels of management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
Applies a deep understanding of the information security, cyber security, and operational characteristics of a variety of computer platforms, networks, software applications, and operating systems
Provides technical direction and guidance to other in IT Security, Information Technology and the business to align with business needs as well as regulatory and security requirements
Identifies areas of weakness and vulnerability and recommends changes to meet security standards
Design, develop, implement, and integrate security systems and system components to include computing, networking, and enclave environments
Perform detailed analysis in support of OS and Application level vulnerabilities
Maintain a working knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications, including emerging technologies
Provide technical support (including on-call as required) to evaluate problems and provide technical solutions for a 24x7 environment
Provide technical consultation in new systems development, new package evaluations and enhancements of existing systems
Participate in technical design reviews, system integration testing, load testing, and provide assistance during user acceptance testing
Prepare and maintain technical user guides, functional specifications, standard operating procedures, systems/network documentation and diagrams
Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience in conjunction with industry standard certifications.
Seven or more years of experience in a cyber security role, where the majority of duties included the engineering, threat and vulnerability management, and oversight of cyber security systems
Required Knowledge and Skills
Experience in a security role with strong working knowledge and understanding of cyber security, frameworks, incident management, operations and application security best practices
Experience managing prevention, detection and verification security programs
Strong leadership skills, problem solving, logical thought processes and analytical abilities
Excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms
Professional presence to communicate the business impact a risk exposes to executives, technical staff, auditors and end users
Versed on network-borne attack vectors and feasible mitigating controls
Strong knowledge of web application and database security sensors, UTM and NextGen firewalls, IPS/IDS sensors, web content URL-filtering applications
Reviewing OS and Application security patch requirements
Enterprise Encryption programs, Data at Rest, In Motion, and Loss Prevention programs
Securing and monitoring messaging systems (Email, IM, SMS and MMS)
Experience with ecommerce systems
Anti-Virus, Malware, and Spyware management and remediation
Remote access solutions, Network Access Controls
Forensic and Investigative tools
Server, Network and Firewall management programs
PCI, SOX, MICS requirements
Security Incident Response programs
