Your daily responsibilities include

The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing enhancement, support and adoption of critical finance-based systems that drive operational and functional efficiencies across the enterprise. In this role, candidate will work closely with technology vendors and business partners to enable new capabilities and ensure existing capabilities continue to function. Candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in the identification and evaluation of new technologies that drive toward business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project planning, scoping and estimating associated with enhancements to financial systems

  • Configuration and administration of assigned financial systems

  • Engage external providers to resolve any issues in the functionality and interoperability of new applications, infrastructure, and other services with existing IT systems, both on premise and cloud

  • Provide first and second level support of assigned financial systems

  • Participate in definition of test strategy and development of a test case library

  • Participate in the execution of integration, user acceptance and regression testing

  • Develop technical and end user documentation

  • Perform end user training

  • Partner with business and technology subject-matter experts to translate business requirements into technology solutions

  • Coordinates with technology brokers to evaluate new technologies and service offerings

  • Coordinate with enterprise architects and information architects to ensure new technologies align to roadmaps and to understand the impact on the organization’s information architecture

  • Other duties may be assigned

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; must have a broad business operation and technical background. Strong technical and problem resolution skills are required.

  • 3-5 years of experience as a systems/technical analyst

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to communicate and instruct new users on new and existing platforms. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to senior management.

Reasoning Ability:

Must possess the ability to determine department systematic needs and recommend changes. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
