Your daily responsibilities include

• Timely maintenance and operation of electrical equipment.

• Must be able to solve situations independently while keeping the Foreman informed of job progress and/or problems that arise.

• Accurate record keeping (work orders, logs and reports).

• Must exercise caution and use of all safety equipment.

• Must respond to room calls while exercising excellent customer service skills.

• Provide reliable and timely service.

• Notify affected areas upon job completion.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

• OSHA 10

• Working knowledge and able to use the NEC; Conduit work and installation; Electrical prints and diagrams

• Working knowledge of voltage from 4160 to 120/208 and transformers

• Installation of CAT- 5 cable punch- down and testing including phone cable install

• Trouble shooting common property electrical challenges

• Orientation of television and Internet system in guest rooms.

• Follow proper lock- out/ tag- out protocols

• Operates electrical testing equipment in location and determining types of electrical malfunctions

• Requires extensive walking, standing, climbing, pulling, balancing, lifting, kneeling, carrying and bending.
