Your daily responsibilities include

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that proper wardrobe inventory is maintained including conducting monthly physical counts, maintaining records of inventory and preparing documentation as requested or needed.

  • Set and maintain par levels for individual products and maintain inventory in an orderly and systematic fashion.

  • Ensure that articles are identified and recorded as they arrive or depart including assisting in shipping and receiving, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to received inventory, and distributing items to team members with proper accounting.

  • Ensure that all items are properly stored, laundered, altered, pressed, steamed, folded, hung, or stacked as needed.

  • Ensure that all machinery including but not limited to sewing machines are kept in good working order, and are serviced or repaired as needed.

  • Oversee the work processes and procedures of wardrobe including the assignment of tasks or apportionment of work to be done by wardrobe team members.

  • Coordinate staff and schedule special functions, promotions or projects such as receipt, inventory and issuance of wardrobe items or other products to be distributed to team members including coordination and communication with other involved departments and preparation of any and all necessary documentation.

  • Coordinate purchase of wardrobe products including gathering information, recommending fabric types and styles, and consulting with department heads regarding appropriate guidelines to fit business needs.

  • Protect and preserve the assets of the company.

  • Promote policies, procedures and processes to increase revenue and effectively manage expenses.

  • Compile information, complete and submit reports to authorized management or Accounting as required.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental or company matters.

  • Practice excellent customer service skills at all times to include, but not limited to, addressing customers’, vendors’, suppliers’ and team members’ needs courteously, promptly, and professionally.

  • Developand promote standards of excellence.

  • Meet all departmental or company project and assignment requirements and deadlines.

  • Provide for the safety of team members including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter and performing all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

  • Understand and adhere to bargaining unit agreements.

  • Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.

  • Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.

  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

  • Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Associates Degreefrom an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Six months or more related experience and/or training

  • Prior experience in a supervisory role preferred

  • 1 year experience with garment alterations and repair preferred

  • Prior experience with Stratton Warren (SWS or MMS) preferred

  • Ability to prepare, read, and interpret documents

  • Ability to write reports and correspondence

  • Ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people

  • Understanding and previous use of a Windows-based computer system. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Ability to navigate on the Internet
