Your daily responsibilities include

SUMMARY

Manage the operations of the Slot department to ensure efficient and profitable returns. Supervise the maintenance and repairs of electronic gaming devices. Exercise good judgment to develop preventive maintenance schedules and procedures within the limits of department policies and procedures.

Schedule slot technicians and coordinate special projects as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position is responsible for providing a high level of guest service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and Cast members.

  • Formulate, direct and participate in the development and implementation of goals and objectives for the Slot department.

  • Analyze the performance of the electronic gaming devices; investigate problem areas and implement corrective action

  • Review slot machine performance and departmental goals to determine conversion schedules.

  • Successfully manage and motivate Cast members to accomplish company objectives.

  • Investigate new technology and methods to improve revenue.

  • Research and recommend vendors for the purchase of new gaming devices.

  • Assist in formulating, developing and implementing goals and objectives for the Slot Technicians.

  • Develop preventative maintenance schedules, procedures and policies to ensure maximum operating efficiency.

  • Review work orders and outstanding repairs or conversions to determine work priority.

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and advise technicians on proper repair methods.

  • Schedule departmental staff for coverage.

  • Oversee the training of new Cast members and update all Cast members on new policies and procedures.

  • Monitor inventory of departmental supplies and requisition replacements as needed.

  • Conduct testing on electronic gaming devices for win ratios and prepare a report.

  • Supervise the Cast members engaged in the maintenance and repair of the electronic gaming devices..

  • Recommend changes in the physical layout of electronic gaming devices.

  • Inspect all equipment and areas the department is responsible for on a regular basis.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Equivalent to two years of college and or technical trade school preferably with a thorough knowledge of electronics. Three plus years experience in slot management and slot repair preferred. Experience in slot analysis is required. Should be able to prove a successful track record in employee relation skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. This position is responsible for providing a high level of guest service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and Cast members. Must understand and speak the English language.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs occasionally.
