Your daily responsibilities include
Monitor activities of the staff and guests to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines and safety rules. Take necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of operations. Provide emergency medical treatment to a sick or injured person. Exercise good judgment in administering emergency medical treatment within the limits of standard or accepted policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and Cast Members.
Staff various posts as assigned.
Coordinate with Surveillance on monitoring critical areas.
Maintain presence and take action to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff and the
Monitor and control guest access to and from the casino barge or non-public areas.
Remove and detain in a security area unruly and disruptive individuals or persons engaged in criminal
Provide general assistance to guests.
Help to arrest and/or physically restrain a resistant individual.
Escort movements of money to and from the gaming tables, cage, vault and slot machines.
Complete all paperwork on incidents and actions taken.
Respond to health emergencies and provide emergency medical treatment to victims.
Inspect the medical supplies and check emergency medical equipment.
Assist the fire department in the treatment and transport of sick and injured victims.
Other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Broad specialized training, equivalent to 2 years of college. Thorough knowledge of Emergency Medical Training. Must currently be certified as an EMT in the State of Illinois and provide proof of certification. Must be at least 21 years of age. This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and Cast Members. Must understand and speak the English language. High school diploma or equivalent is required. This position is required to drive a company vehicle and adhere to the company MVR policy. Must have a valid Illinois Drivers License.
While performing the duties of this job, the Cast Member is regularly required to talk and hear. The Cast Member frequently is required to stand and walk. The Cast Member is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The Cast Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The Cast Member requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs occasionally. Must possess a physical fitness level to control and restrain unruly guests.
