Your daily responsibilities include
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
Oversees the installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance of networked information systems.
Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
Supports Network Core, Firewalls, Switches, Routers, VPNs, Wireless Access Points and other associated equipment.
Utilizes virtualization technologies such as VMWare ESXi, VSphere.
Maintains advanced network monitoring utilizing industry, standards such as SNMP, etc.
Maintains/modifies Microsoft Exchange including creating and modifying existing users, distribution groups and Exchange Unified Messaging.
Installs, supports and manages servers and resolves issues as needed.
Manages the Active Directory.
Installs patches and performs system backups and recovery.
Monitors system configuration, storage arrays, backups and maintains data files.
Resolves network performance issues and establishes a disaster recovery plan.
Provides technical support and guidance to users.
Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-5 years related experience and/or training
Working knowledge of current Windows operating systems
Knowledgeable of networking fundamentals
Experience supporting current Microsoft Office suite
Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, software and operating systems
Experience performing computer imaging and restoration
IP Telephony, POS Systems, iSeries Applications and Gaming system application support is preferred.
Working knowledge of VMware, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server and Cisco Networking preferred.
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
