Your daily responsibilities include
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and Company standards, core values, and programs.
Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all state, health department, and departmental standards within area of responsibility and reports potential issues to management.
Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
Maintains open lines of communication with management and security to ensure service standards and safety standards are kept up at all times.
Provides prompt, courteous service to guests while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.
Greets all Guests upon arrival, distributes towels in accordance with towel policy, offers assistance with seating when applicable.
Responsible for checking in all pool rental Guests and providing access according to Daily Amenity Rental sheets.
Responsible for accurately inputting, enforcing, and payment processing of all admissions for the resort pool and day club.
Responsible for appropriately storing all lost and found items.
Maintains sundry supplies and ensures inventory is stocked and ordered as needed.
Receives and documents all phone calls for Guest VIP Seating inquiries. Generates and delivers appropriate message to VIP Host Team or Management staff as necessary.
Acts as communications center for guest calls, management, auxiliary departments and pool staff.
Keeps informed of all new developments within the department.
Knowledgeable in all hotel, pool, and dayclub facility operations and services to accurately answer guest inquiries.
When called upon, resets chairs, umbrellas, removes towels, empties towel bins, or cleans Guest areas on the pool deck.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. One year of experience in customer service or a pool setting is preferred.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, with particular attention to detail.
Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills with a good personality, enjoying opportunities to work with and assist people.
Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management, vendors and employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Must be able to withstand extreme sun & heat, cold, and inclement weather for long periods of time throughout the day.
Basic understanding of computers and use of software
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
