Your daily responsibilities include
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and Company standards, core values, and programs.
Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all state, health department, and departmental standards within area of responsibility and reports potential issues to management.
Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
Maintains open lines of communication with management and security to ensure service standards and safety standards are kept up at all times.
Provides prompt, courteous service to guests while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.
Provides quality service to both internal and external guests, specifically maintaining established quality standards for timely food and beverage.
Keeps informed of all new developments within the department.
Assists with collection and transportation of dirty or soiled glassware.
Responsible for maintaining designated pour costs through use of jiggers and recipe adherence at all times.
Understands sequence of service with regards to guests dining at bar counters and can make recommendations of food menu items when appropriate.
Upsells spirits, suggestively sells cocktails, and promotes current specials. Regularly replenishes beverages, abiding by responsible alcohol service regulations.
Converses with Guests about alcoholic beverages, advising the types and styles of beverage, taking beverage orders and serving beverage.
Assesses guest’s intoxication level and takes appropriate action as needed to promote responsible consumption. Enforces customer limit regulations in a firm and courteous manner.
Monitors factors which interfere with the total experience of the guest.
Professionally handles billing and payment of bills in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Strictly adheres to established policies and procedures with regard to the proper handling of any cash, comps, room charges, credit cards, coupons, and other forms of payment as provided by the guest Works with safety as a priority and follows department and company safety standards.
Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.
Complete and oversee set-up and clearing of the bar area
Performs prep tasks when not serving guests by helping to stock items or clean work areas.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED
Two years of bartending experience in a high volume pool, dayclub, or nightclub environment preferred
Previous modeling experience in a dayclub and/or nightclub environment preferred
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, with particular attention to detail.
Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills with a good personality, enjoying opportunities to work with and assist people.
Proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management, vendors and employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Must be able to withstand extreme sun & heat, cold, and inclement weather for long periods of time throughout the day.
Working knowledge of a Point-of-Sale (POS) System preferred. Experience with Micros highly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
Nevada GCB Registration (Club Venue), Alcohol Awareness, and SNV Food Handler Safety cards required.
