Your daily responsibilities include


The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Repair and Maintain all locks and door hardware on the property.

  • Responsible for the security of all keys issued, key inventory. Including but not limited to proper access allocation, disabling of keys, documentation of keys issued, and restriction of access.

  • Possess the ability to run reports on the key system including but not limited to lock interrogation and key tracking.

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.

  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

  • Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.

  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • High School Diploma/GED, Associate’s/Technical Degree in Mechanical engineering, or locksmith trade school. 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must have the ability to plan a project involving the installation of doors, door hardware, door locks, door closing devices, handicapped hardware and the repair of doors when needed.

  • Must be computer literate, and have the ability to research, purchase and setup a software system to purchase, issue, track and maintain a key log that will produce information immediately when needed.

  • Must have advanced knowledge of all door locking and operating devices for various types of doors, and how to repair as well as install new hardware for each.

  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.

  • Must be able to work beyond assigned shift if required.

  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
