Your daily responsibilities include

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Responsible for oversight of Team Members, operational tasks, and food and beverage operations in areas of assignment, including but not limited to, Pool Operations, Day Club Operations, Lounge Operations, and Concert Operations.

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and Company standards, core values, and programs.

  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all state, health department, and departmental standards within area of responsibility and reports potential issues to management.

  • Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.

  • Generates opening paperwork, including but not limited to, staffing emails, revenue goals, lifeguard rotations, reservation floor plans, service floor plans, and bar staffing.

  • Assists in the interviewing, hiring, orientation, and training of all Team Members. Has the ability to identify and provide personalized training when applicable.

  • Responsible for observing weather conditions as they relate to Guest safety and to implement the necessary safety precautions and communicate to staff, Guests, Management, and internal departments.

  • Assists in maintenance of cost control methods and procedures by monitoring pars and inventory. Responsible for supporting compliance to departmental budgets.

  • Schedules and coordinates pool staff for daily operations, on-going training, and mandatory meetings. Communicates staffing challenges to Management. Communicates staffing issues and provides coverage for call-outs.

  • Checks to ensure Pool Decks, Restrooms, Bars, and Lounge areas are adequately cleaned and properly stocked.

  • Checks the proper maintenance of the equipment and sanitation of pools and pool facilities

  • Responds to guest needs, resolves issues as they arise, communicates service breakdowns, and reports continual challenges and makes recommendations to Manager.

  • Assists Manager with administrative duties.

  • Acts as a liaison between the pool operations and all other departments, communicating relevant information to the pool operations staff as needed.

  • Assists in cross training of team members while encouraging, reinforcing, and supporting peers and team.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Monitors accuracy of the Cabana inventory, daily sales and revenue goals, and is able to make recommended changes

  • Prevents accidents through enforcement of policies, rules and regulations governing the conduct of staff and patrons using the pool and the surrounding area.

  • Updates / monitors daily payroll, ensuring all associates are punching in/out correctly

  • Complete daily Pool Operations reports.

  • Attend meetings and complete tasks / projects assigned by management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High School Diploma or GED; or two years previous customer service experience; or combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Must have knowledge of kitchen/restaurant sanitation, operation and maintenance of equipment.

  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.

  • Provides coaching and counseling to team members.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid Certification, Clark County Health Card required
