Your daily responsibilities include

MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for utilizing guest casino play for comping decisions.

  • Responsible for telemarketing new and existing business through the use of casino promotions, special events, and direct marketing offers.

  • Responsible for submitting guest room reservations.

  • Responsible for gathering relative information for future telemarketing efforts.

  • Responsible for reviewing and understanding casino play.

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining good and proper relationships with hotel/gaming visitors and market the M resort product to all guests.

  • Responsible for assisting other departments in their relationships with guests as a liaison, participate in special and social events, and assist in the event of collection issues.

  • Responsible for meeting and maintaining all job and departmental goals.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

EXPERIENCE: Must have previous experience as a Casino Host or a minimum of 3-5 years customer service experience in a major gaming environment.

EDUCATION : Must have a college degree or comparable work experience in a major gaming environment

SKILLS: Ability to read, write and speak English. Good organizational and telephone skills. Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner. Ability to work effectively with staff, other department personnel, guests, and management. Must have a proven track record of personally providing excellent guest service. Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic demeanor to guests, both internal and external. Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies, and procedures. Working knowledge of casino and hotel computer programs is required. Knowledge of casino games is preferred. Data entry experience is required. Must be detail orientated and a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel is required.
