Your daily responsibilities include

SUMMARY Designs and delivers motion graphics/video projects following Corporate branding guidelines to enhance our guest entertainment experience. Handles daily technical operations and first line maintenance for live, audio and video entertainment within the facilityin order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength and compliance goals. Provides encouragement, sets high expectations, and sets proud and positive examples necessary to ensure a fun, exciting and professional working environment for our staff and a pleasant and entertaining experience for our guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Design and deliver motion graphic and video projects

Create "Hollywood Casino" themed content for large scale displays

Work with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, (Mac) Motion, Flash and Scala

Work with video compression software to repurpose content

Assist Marketing with production of in-house content for display on monitors within the casino, racing, and dining venues.

Administer control panels to operate and distribute multiple audio and video sources including but not limited to, horse racing, background music, HD video servers, sporting events and other casino and/or pari-mutuel related feeds.

Monitor and log distributed signals.

Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask

Perform routine and preventative maintenance functions, routine filter changes and routine lamp replacements

Set up and operate audio and video equipment including microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, and related equipment for sporting events, presentations, promotions, and special events

Set up, operate, adjust, service and repair electronic equipment

Regulate fidelity, brightness, contrast, volume, and sound quality throughout the AV system

Develop and maintain a good rapport with the Marketing department, other departments and guests

Learn to operate the distribution console and become proficient in control room operations and skilled in maintenance and repair of the systems

Maintain strong communication with supervisor regarding status and functionality of equipment

Assist group guests with AV needs

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the customer service program.

Adhere to all Corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The person in this role has no supervisory responsibilities; however, in the absence of a supervisor, they may be asked to:

Answer routine questions from co-workers

Lead completion of daily tasks within the department or work unit

Interact with others when necessary to achieve desired outcomes

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Associate’s/Technical Degree; 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. General familiarity with casino marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must have the ability to read, write and speak English.

Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.

Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.

Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and guests.

Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.

Must have the ability to write procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must have the ability to perform basic math skills

REASONING ABILITY

Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions

Must have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form

Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations

Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.)

COMPUTER SKILLS

Intermediate computer knowledge; MS Office; Must be proficient with the following content creation tools:

Adobe After Effects

Apple Final Cut Pro Motion

Adobe Flash

Scala Multimedia

Strong Adobe Photoshop skills required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
