Your daily responsibilities include
Responsible for fostering a fun environment.
Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.
Operates assigned bank or window according to department and regulatory guidelines.
Completes all required shift paperwork according to internal control standards.
Counts down bank or window at end of each shift and reconciles to the draw amount.
Provides professional, courteous, and sincere service to all guests.
Efficiently and accurately processes all pari-mutuel wagers.
Efficiently and accurately pays out winners.
Can explain the wagering rules and procedures to guests in a pleasant and friendly manner.
Presents oneself as a credit to the company and encourages others to do the same.
Responsible for providing exceptional ACES Customer Service to all guests.

Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
General cashiering background or prior money handling experience preferred.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Ability to learn and comply with department, property and regulatory policy and procedure.
Knowledge of tote system to place customer bets.
Efficiency and accuracy when entering guests wagers and paying out winners.
Ability to cooperate and work will with co-workers and other departments.
Variances within standards according to department variance policy.
Other duties, as needed.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent.Must be a graduate of a Judge Accreditation School/ Program approved by The Ohio State Racing Commission.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Excellent verbal skills.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of America money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
Reasoning Ability: Be able to make quick, reasonable decisions regarding patron and team member interactions.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations :Must be licensed with the Ohio Racing Commission. Must be able to obtain a Racing License.
Physical Demands : Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.Team Members must be drug and nicotine free.

The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
