Penn National Gaming Business Operations Project Manager in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania
The Business Operations Project Managerwillsupport the Directors of Sportsbook and iCasino Operations in the buildout of the Digital Operations component for the real money interactive sportsbook and casino, as well as assist Penn National Gaming properties with the lead-up to launches for retail sports betting. He/she will act as a mediator between the various components of the business to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met. The position will also play a vital role in supporting key areas such as: Compliance, Contract Negotiations, Customer Service, Finance, and Fraud/Payments.
Your daily responsibilities include
Responsible for assisting online sportsbook and casino team members in tracking and meeting all required deliveries and deadlines. Successfully manage project development lifecycle end-to-end.
Manage internal schedules for calls and meetings.
Provide detailed notes for all calls and meetings to both internal and external parties.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
Develop solutions and estimate new project work.
Keeping the project team informed regarding key deliverables and milestones and provide status reports to sponsors.
Work with internal teams and external vendors to outline project goals and deliverables.
Guide the projects to ensure that strategic and creative goals are met.
Work with the properties to assist with any project management assistance they may need.
Create and manage project timelines, backlogs, schedules and budgets.
Anticipate and identify issues that may negatively impact business and work with other parties (internal and/or external) to develop and implement solutions.
Lead and motivate project team members on a proactive basis.
Teamwork oriented - must be a team player willing to help others while also fostering their help in return. The role will work closely with internal team members on the Accounting, Compliance, Finance, and Operations teams, as well as 3rd party Payment Service Providers.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set
Bachelor’s Degree(preferred) in business or similar field.
3-4 years of work experience within a similar role. Experience in the gambling business is a plus.
Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
Forward thinker who designs for not only current business needs, but plans for scalability and longer-term solutions.
Must be able to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities while ensuring successful completion ofall items.
Ability to understand and adhere to any regulatory standards and changes.
