Your daily responsibilities include
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the support and execution of internal and external recruiting efforts for Talent Acquisition Shared Services. This role is also responsible for mass interview scheduling, screening, and new hire processing for a large number of candidates.
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Supports the internal and external recruitment efforts for Talent Acquisition Shared Services.
Reviews all resumes and applications for high volume, non-exempt positions. May assist with other roles as needed.
Meets established KPI (key performance indicators) and goals assigned by Manager.
Pre-screens potential candidates and expands talent pipelines for high volume, non-exempt roles. May assist with other roles as needed.
Creates job offers and extends offers as needed according to established guidelines.
Adheres to phone interview schedules, schedules onsite interviews, and assess candidates according to hiring criteria. Determines which non-exempt professionals/skilled candidates are sent for property interviews according to established guidelines.
Efficiently and effectively fills open positions through internal and external customer follow up.
Responsible for initiating and tracking new hire onboarding processing in iCims.
Performs specialized or confidential administrative duties, including researching data and preparing reports as needed.
Ensures all background information complies with PNG standards for all hires according to established guidelines. Seeks Manager approval for anything that falls outside of the guidelines.
Consults with management on all performance related issues and concerns.
Consistently demonstrates excellent communication skills.
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set
Prior experience recruiting in the casino/gaming industry preferred.
Proven candidate sourcing skills.
Must have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
Must have excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
Must have demonstrated knowledge of state, local and federal labor laws and regulations related to HR.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Must have the ability to be proactive when working on tasks.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
