Your daily responsibilities include
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Supervises day to day operations of Poker Room
Directs the Poker Dealers to accomplish the goals of the Poker area and Table Games department
Provides visible leadership in gaming operation areas
Ensures compliance with Title 31 requirements and processes
Responsible for the integrity of daily operations. Models regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures
Presents oneself as a credit to Company and encourages others to do the same
Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
Responsible for supporting compliance to departmental budgets.
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
Ensures efficient operations protection of Poker assets during assigned shift.
Maintains a continuous inspection of cards ensuring the security of poker games during assigned shift.
Monitors chips and cash transactions between dealers and guests and ensures that proper payout amounts are paid to customers, in accordance with established procedures.
Accounts for chips on poker games. This includes making fills and credits as needed.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred
Two years progressively more challenging experience in a gaming operations role, poker experience required
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word) and poker software applications
Ability to understand and analyze Budget & P&L Statements.
Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English
Proven managerial and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment within established policies
Must possess excellent interpersonal and employee relations skills
Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors
Ability to stand and walk, and mobility to move easily around pit area as well as entire property for entire shift
Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds and air quality
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
