Your daily responsibilities include
Removes cash boxes and drop buckets, opens bill changer units and drop cabinets using operations and security keys.
Places set of alternate empty boxes into bill changers and drop buckets into drop cabinets.
Transports all collected cash boxes and drop buckets to the Count Room.
Operates automated currency equipment to count and process currency removed from the cash boxes and, operates scales and coin/token counting equipment to count process coin/tokens removed from drop buckets.
Prepares Drop Bucket and Cash Storage Box Report with supporting documentation obtained from the counting of the cash boxes and drop buckets.
Responsible for packaging currency and coin/tokens into predetermined amounts for later use by the Cashiers' Cage or the deposit.
Responsible for impressing video lottery terminal hopper storage are and change machines on a schedule and as needed basis.
Ensure key control procedures are adhered to.
Opens slot base cabinets using designated keys.
Removes full coin buckets from the video lottery terminals.
Places set of alternate empty buckets under video lottery terminals.
Transports the verified coin/slot tokens to the Cashiers' Cage vault.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must meet licensing requirements of West Virginia Racing and/or Lottery Commissions.
