Your daily responsibilities include
Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of outlet.
Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
May be responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department by providing recommendations; supports compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
Ensure food servers, bus persons and other restaurant personnel are meeting or exceeding service standards.
Maintain control of the restaurant to ensure staffing levels are appropriate based on business volumes.
Assist restaurant manager in developing and implementing policies, procedures and rules including operations manuals, to promote compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
Create and maintain records, reports and other documentation as required to meet company and business expectations.
Maintain the viability and integrity of all restaurant operations.
Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university
Three years progressively more challenging leadership role in a food and beverage operation
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
Ability to understand and analyze Department Budgets, Capital Expenditures, and P&L Statements
Proven managerial and critical thinking skills required
Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English
Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors
Must possess excellent interpersonal and employee relations skills
Ability to stand and walk for entire shift and mobility to move easily around entire property.
Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality
Effective labor management including efficient scheduling based on guest traffic patterns and overtime within property guidelines
Development of team to include completion of all required training and knowledge of all policies and procedures relating to their positions
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
