An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Demonstrating outstanding internal and external service in accordance with “Red Carpet Service” program guidelines

  • Responsible for overseeing the operations and Cast Members of the security department

  • Devote a minimum of one hour per shift to observing Cast Members in service interactions, ie: teamwork, interdepartmental cooperation and guest service

  • Maintain and track attendance records for Security Cast Members

  • Ensure that reported incidents are documented and that the reports are submitted on a timely basis Review all reports for accuracy and completeness

  • Conduct investigative interviews as deemed necessary

  • Responsible for the Valet departments activities and provide direction to Valet Supervisors in the absences of the Valet Manager

  • Safeguard assets, guests and Cast Members

  • Ensure department equipment is maintained

  • Ensure security Cast Members are trained in First Aid and on the AED and that certifications are kept valid

  • Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol, intervening as needed according to established practices

  • Directly supervises: Security Supervisors

  • Executes or participates in

  • Interviewing, hiring, and training Cast Members

  • Planning, scheduling, assigning, and directing work

  • Appraising performance

  • Rewarding and assessing Cast Member performance

  • Making recommendations for improving operational efficiencies

  • Manages guest and Cast Member complaints

  • Promptly report and remedy any legal/compliance measures

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • College degree or equivalent work experience related to supervision or business

  • Ability to maintain HCA identified responsible alcohol service certification

  • Ability to read, comprehend and interpret written and/or oral instructions

  • Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and apply to practical situations using fractions, percentages, measurements, proportions, and problem solving

  • Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English

  • Ability to understand and perform duties in accordance with:

  • Internal Controls

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

  • Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License
