Your daily responsibilities include
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Slot Tech department. Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
Create effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
Responsible for oversight of electronic gaming device activities for adherence to established procedures.
Ensures customer service meets established standards.
Responsible for all material inventory and ensures accurate par levels are maintained.
Makes final determinations regarding types of materials, supplies, or tools to be used within established guidelines.
Responsible forlayouts to installations of slot machines.
Manages and directs preventative maintenance of slot machines.
Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of machine malfunctions and player tracking system problems. Review correspondence needed to move, convert, or install slot related equipment.
Responsible for the repair, maintenance and performance of all slots and related gaming equipment.
Responsible for the development, interpretation, and implementation of departmental policies, operating procedures, and training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules, rules and regulations of the Slot Technical department.
Ensure all policies, procedures and practices are consistently followed and comply with the company’s service standards, brand attributes, policies, collective bargaining agreements and regulatory requirements.
Plan and submit for movements and conversions of slot machines, based on analysis of gaming floor.
Leads and directs the development, execution and measurement of departmental service standards for the Slot Technical team.
Ability to bring about results from ordinary circumstances; prepare for problems or opportunities in advance; transform leads into productive business outcomes; undertake additional responsibilities and respond to situations as they arise without supervision.
Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Associates degree (A.A) from technical school; or minimum of three years in Slot management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
Excellent skills in both written and oral communication.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and have knowledge of Slot operating systems.
Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
This job has supervisory responsibilities.
Responsible for staff development and training programs.
Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.
Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.
Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.
Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving history as determined by Penn National Gaming’s auto insurance carrier.
