Your daily responsibilities include

  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employee; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Promote and maintain all steps of the Red Carpet Customer Service program with each patron and employee you come in contact with.

  • Effectively respond to supervisor’s requests in all areas of customer interaction and customer concerns.

  • Supports and manages the department’s success in all Company-wide programs and strategies including, but not limited to, training initiatives, the Company’s Customer Service Program, Employee Engagement, employee recognition events, and wellness programs.

  • Vigorously works toward financial success of the Company and contributes ideas for improvement of the operation

  • Works collaboratively with all managers and the executive team and willingly accepts and gives constructive criticism that is in the best interest of the business in the spirit of overall property success.

  • Communicates effectively with all employees. Keeps direct reports well informed about issues and subjects pertinent to their jobs and/or operations of the property.

  • Effectively manages employee performance by clearly defining job duties and expectations. Provides needed direction and assistance while recognizing and rewarding excellent performers.

  • Responsible for budgeting, evaluation, procurement, installation, and support of computer and communications hardware, operating systems and application software.

  • Responsible for providing service to users, resolving user issues and providing instruction to users to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

  • Responsible for disaster recovery planning and testing, capacity planning, security administration, software licensing, monitoring and tuning performance, ensuring integrity of backups, preventative maintenance and maximizing system availability.

  • Responsible for the management of compliance and ensure cross training of responsibilities to other team members. Responsible for recommendation and implementation of processes that improve system integrity, and customer satisfaction, while always looking for possible cost reduction methods. Responsible for staying current on relevant new technologies and bringing any new technologies to the attention of management if applicable to enhancing the current infrastructure.

  • Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job descriptions where, in the company’s judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or improved guest service.

  • Comply with company policies; all state and federal regulations; and internal controls as it relates to this position.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience is required.

  • A successful candidate in this position must have a broad technical background in all aspects of network and desktop computing with over 8 years of IT experience and a minimum of three years supervisory management experience.

  • A successful candidate must have a proven track record of leading numerous projects simultaneously, establishing effective priorities among competing requirements and meeting deadlines while demonstrating a successful hands-on approach to overseeing all assigned projects.

  • Must possess strong administrative, analytical, time management and decision-making skills.

  • A successful candidate must have a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required. This position interfaces with all departments, IT staff and outside vendors. Must have experience working directly with customers in understanding business needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, motivate and lead a team of skilled IT professionals.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects. The employee is occasionally required to lift 20 pounds to a height of four (4) feet.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision and the ability to adjust focus.
