Don't just work, work happy!

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Wait on customers. Serve drinks, water, coffee, tea, cocktails and wine to customers at appropriate times. Refill beverages as needed.

  • Pick up dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware during and after meals, place trays and deliver to assigned dish washing area in kitchen.

  • Pick up all clean dishes, glassware, and silverware from area and distribute to each service location. Make sure there is always sufficient ware available.

  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned station: bus tables, wipe tables and chairs, pick up trash, etc.

  • Greet guests arriving at assigned station and take orders promptly. Describe menu and specials, and answer all questions about them. Interact verbally with guests creating a friendly atmosphere.

  • Relay orders to bar and kitchen via the Micros register system.

  • Have checks rung up: print clearly, write check correctly, and check that all items have been rung up correctly.

  • Wait on customer. Serve food to guest in the proper manner. Check that all items are cooked properly, serve items from left of guest, and remove all items not being used. Deliver food and drinks using team delivery system.

  • Replace and refresh water glasses and coffee cups. Suggest a dessert.

  • Complete opening, running, and closing side duties completely: fill sugars, salt, pepper, and cream: make coffee, etc.

  • Keep ice stations filled, silverware polished and rolled, and glasses and dishes stocked.

  • Prepare tables for next guest. Remove any dirty dishes, silverware and napkins.

  • Stock/restock supplies (e. g., cups, glasses, silverware, coffee, napkins, etc.) at service station.

  • Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the Company’s judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity or improved guest service.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Six months experience in food service preferred

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English

  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers and guests in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to stand and walk for entire shift

  • Must be able to lift trays of food above shoulder level for a distance of up to fifty yards

  • Tolerate areas of cold and high temperature in excess of 115 degrees

  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues

  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing high noise levels and bright lights

  • Teamwork – ability to work collaboratively within the outlet for effective day to day operations

  • Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements

  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment

  • Knowledge of and compliance with department, property and company policies and procedures

  • Maintain health department standards and regulations – inspection scores should be at or above standards. Cleanliness of restaurant

  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
